I found this small place in South Melbourne and I frequently go there when I want to eat Malaysian food, it is called Penang Road located in South Melbourne. For the meal I ordered the Ipoh Char Hor Fun for $12.90 and it was really good even though it is still not as close to the authentic Malaysian taste because they got the salty level just right! Next is the drink and it is the Iced Teh Tarik for $4 and I don’t recommend getting this because it was kind of diluted 😔 The place can get really loud and crowded due to its small space so I suggest going there at off peak hours or calling the restaurant ahead of time to book some seats if you are going with a large crowd.
