Fried Oysters Anyone?

Throwback to the time when we went to the Winter Night Market in Queen Victoria Market! This is the Oyster Karage (fried) for $15.00 and it is the same place where I got the Lobster roll at George the Fish Monger. I had this twice and I really wished that I had more than that because it was soooo good!! The batter was really crispy and when you bite into it, you get the gooey oyster which was heavenly!! I forgot what was the sauce but it went really well with the karage and the ice cream cone was delicious enough to eat by its own! Do you guys know any good karage that I can eat? Because I really am craving for something as good as this!!

South Melbourne Market!

Hi everyone! Over the weekend, a group of friends and I went over to South Melbourne Market to try out some oysters and sea urchin. It was my first time there and I was shocked by the crowd! There was people queuing up in almost every single food stall. We decided to have some hot food before having oysters so I decided to try out a chicken burrito. The burrito was really good but quite messy to eat, I ended up getting it all over me๐Ÿ˜ซ. It cost $12 dollars and you can choose between chicken and pork.ย

After the burrito, we went over to the oyster bar! The oysters and sea urchin looked so fresh!๐Ÿ˜ย The store served their oysters in trays but you can also get them in singles if you’re not sharing. The oysters cost $1.67 each and I definitely think it was worth the price. I could only eat 3 as I was so full from the burrito. The stall also provided lemon slices, soy sauce and other kind of sauces at their tables for patrons that plan on eating their oysters there! I also tried a little bit of sea urchin for the first time which I quite liked but I am not sure if I love it. The texture was different but it worked with the soy sauce. One of my friend did not like it though so I am guessing it is one of those things where you either hate it or love it?๐Ÿ˜‚ย The sea urchin cost $8 each. I would suggest trying it out if you have not already.
