Another Burger…

It has already been established that I enjoy a burger or two, so here is another burger review. AU79 is a cafe in Abbotsford renowned for their coffee. Yesterday I went to get a coffee there (which was AMAZING by the way) and ended up staying for lunch as well. The menu was huge and between the all day Breakfast menu and the Lunch menu, it took me a while to decide but, eventually I settled for the AU79 Burger.

The burger came with a bowl of fries and sauce and cost me a total of $20 which I thought was pretty reasonable as you can see the size of the burger and chips. Also the cafe was beautifully done up and was simply lovely just to sit in. Our meals came very quickly and I was happy with the service.

Now to the burger. THIS BURGER WAS AMAZING. You can see the melted cheese on the burger in the photo, now let me tell you it was better in real life!! I never leave anything on my plate but yesterday I has to leave a few chips as I was so full and satisfied from the burger but, the chips too were seasoned and cooked to perfection. I was in a quality food coma afterwards.

I did not regret my choice in ‘accidentally’ having lunch here nor do I regret my choice in eating that burger. I don’t think you would either so head down to AU79 and eat!!!

I am telling you it is worth it!!!

Croissant Burgers?😱

A  group of friends and I decided to have brunch and found a hidden cafe along Hardware Street, Melbourne CBD. The cafe is called White Mojo. When we got there, we had to queue for about 15-20 minutes before we finally got a seat. It was really hard choosing what to eat because everything just looked so so so good! I finally settled on their Signature Croissant Burger and it was AMAZING!  It was a big croissant cut into two with two eggs and a huge piece of fried soft shell crab in the middle. The combo was so so good.😻 I paired it with a Iced Matcha Latte and was in awe. The cafe has seasonal menus, however I do believe the croissant burger is always going to be served as it is their signature. The Croissant Burger cost $25 whereas the Matcha Latte cost $7. It is definitely pricey, however with the size of the portion, ambience as well as the taste, I would highly recommend trying it at least once!

The cafe also serves…*wait for it*…BLACK LATTE! ( right side of the picture).  One of my friend ordered it and said it tasted amazing.  It was not as pitch black as we expected it to be but it was still amazing to look at. It is a combination of soy milk, black sesame and nuts. It cost $7 as well and I think I would try it the next time I go there. Let me know down in the comments if there’s any other hidden cafes I should try!

Why do Hamburgers go to the gym? … to get better buns

Burgetory had been constantly popping up on my social media and I finally gave in. I made it over to Kew to find the little burger joint that I had seen so much of. The Burger that I had seen so much of was a double patty burger wrapped in a black brioche bun. I knew that was what I had to order before I even got there! My friend got the so called ‘Pride Burger’ which is everything you’d expect in a burger but I went next level and got the ‘Wrath Burger’.

This burger comes with 2 beef patties, 2 different types of cheese, two rashes of bacon as well as homemade wicked sauce yet, somehow they have still managed to cram a bit of salad in there. On the menu there is a little chilli symbol next to the Wrath burger which was necessary. The wicked sauce was spicy but I am a fan of spice. The burger alone cost me $15.90 but as you can see, it was well big enough to eat by itself and feel full. Its not something I would eat or afford often but it is a nice treat.

The burger was yum but it was a lot and I struggled to finish it. If you don’t like spice this burger is not for you otherwise, I would recommend this burger any day but not everyday, diabetes would occur quickly haha. Anyway there are lots of different choices of burgers and I’m sure you would find one to enjoy at Burgertory! Go give it a try and tell me how you go.

Burgers Joints are becoming more popular here in Melbourne, apart from McDonalds do you guys know of any that I should give  go?

Best and ONLY Authentic Pan Mee in Melbourne?😱

Pan Mee!

Hi everyone! I was craving Malaysian food over the weekend and decided to try out a new Malaysian restaurant that opened up in A’Beckett Street, Melbourne. The restaurant is a little different from other Malaysian restaurants as they only serve soups and pan mee which literally translates to flour noodle (Malaysian Chinese Cuisine). The restaurant is called Jojo Little Kitchen and just like its name, it was a small place. Don’t be fooled by the name though, the queue at the restaurant was long and it took half an hour before we got to sit. I ordered their dry traditional pan mee and was in love! It cost $12.90 and was a fairly big portion. The service and ambience of the place is great. The only downfall would be that waiting time was required due to the size of the restaurant, but I would definitely go back! Comment below if you have tried Jojo Little Kitchen and let me know what you think of the place. Till next time guys!
