Brunetti….again?😬

This is probably my 3rd post on Brunetti’s ( I have a sweet tooth, don’t judge😝) so I am going to make this post short and sweeeet ( see what I did there?😝). There’s so much to have and try at Brunetti’s that I can’t resist going back. This time I tried their gelato and my god, it was amazing!! I got two scoops for $6 which is a pretty fair price I feel. I tried the salted caramel and the matcha flavour. Both were really good but I loved the matcha one more and was a little bummed that the scoops were uneven (you can even see it in the picture). I got a cup full of salted caramel and just a small scoop of matcha on the top. The next time I go there I would probably get it in a cone instead of a cup and see if there is a difference.

Do you guys know any great places for gelato in Melbourne? If you do, please let me know!

Back at it again 😎

I am back with another Brunetti review but this time I am focusing on the savory menu and it is just as good as the desserts 😍! I had the Salmon & Camembert toasted sandwich, which costs $11.90, and it was d-e-li-cious! You have the option of either toasting the sandwich or leaving it as it is, so maybe next time I will leave it as it is just to see the difference. This is definitely good if you want to split it with a friend when you are not really hungry but would like something other than desserts or snacks. However, I would advise you to eat it quickly since the bread did get a little bit hard to eat at the end 😅  I paired this meal with a chocolate milkshake for $6.90 and it is a good replacement for the Universal restaurant chocolate milkshake (which I did a review about in the past if you wanna check it out!) if you want a less thick texture.

This is a different location then the previous review on Brunetti because instead of eating at the main area, me and my friend chose to sit in a smaller area that has a glass view of the almost outdoor area! A little bit confusing to write 😵 but! just know that there are different types of feel in each location, which you should definitely try out yourself! Sooo tell me, are there other places with cool or unique atmosphere? let me know in the comments 😁

Tea Time in between stress

The opposite of stressed is desserts and Brunetti is a great to do just that! It has a variety of cakes and pastries to choose from that you can always come back to try different types and don’t worry about blowing your money away because these treats are only around $3-8! In this picture, my friend and I had a strawberry cream eclair, a chocolate swiss roll and a cream filled pastry. I definitely recommend the eclair because it is light and sweet and the roll but it is a bit thick so a drink is definitely needed. Maybe not the pastry because it was hard as rock, thought it would be puffy, and the cream had a weird taste to it… I paired these off with an English breakfast tea that can come with milk and it was delicious with the desserts and helps clean the palette to fully appreciate each dish 😋.

Let me know if there’s any desserts from Brunetti that I must try or another dessert place I can go to! the more desserts I can get my hands on the better!
